Need some input....

Model/series number...what are these tractors like? Likes and dislikes, pictures from owners who have them and how you like them compared to other Cubs. Just pick'n people's brain.

I have a 127...cant quite make out the model number on your pic there..anyhow. I love my 127..It's my favorite narrow frame! I love the style of the front grill area where it angles out where the headlight panel starts..unlike the 1x2 series or 100's. I also like having the full fenders, just gives it a tough, solid, look. Ive been very pleased with the power of the K-301 for mowing and pushing a 42" blade....I recently installed a 3 point and brinly adapter, but have yet to use it. I'm lucky to have a spring assist to make lifting implements easier as well. It takes some use for me to transition from driving my 1211 or 682 and driving this..the hydro lever seems a little awkward for me at times, especially when trying to raise or lower the lift lever at the same time..its much easier on my 82 series. The only other pet peeve is the inability to access the drive shaft or hydro linkages "through" the tunnel cover like the 82 series or wideframes....makes it a pita to adjust the hydro... I'm on the fence whether I like my 82 series or my 1x7 series more...but its close :biggrin2.gif:

I have several models like this. (125's '105 127) I like the fact that they have easy starting long lasting motors. Thanks to ACR. That's just my opinion. I also don't like the fact that you can't access the hydro or drive shaft. That is just what I have to do on my 125. hydro linkage needs work.

MH: It is part of the 1x6/7 Series, which was the last series of NF's.

Good tractor, but the hydros in that series are among the hardest to work on. They changed the hydro control and linkage a bit from the previous series and made it much harder to disassemble and remove on the tractor.

i think that one is a 106 or 126 because the shift lever cover is removed and almost looks like theres a shifter coming out of it? 126 is the 3rd rarest cub that ih made ya know lol

I have a 106 and it is a very good tractor, but as a personal thing i dont like the fiberglass dash, and the look of the grill and fenders as much as the 123/122. Other than that they are as good as any other narrow frame cub, tough and very good mowing tractors.Trust me,if you get one you will love it. :beerchug:

Mountain, if thats a 126, it's the third lowest produced IH Cub. I have one but its been in about 500 pieces for a year. I'm trying to get it redone but keep starting other projects.:bash2: Here's a picture of mine before, sorry I don't have any after pictures yet.
