Magnetic Drain Plugs for the K Series Motors
 

I have been shopping around for these and found them at the cheapest price at McMaster-Carr. Part #s for the 3/8" NPT plugs:

For the hex socket style, Part # 1072A22 is $1.84

For the square head style, Part # 1072A12 is $2.12

They got lots of other sizes too.

I actually prefer the cheaper hex socket style due to they don't gouge the floor as much when you drag the engine around when it's out of the tractor!! :biggrin2.gif:

Has Anybody found them cheaper elswhere?

I havent found any that are cheaper but i use an earth magnet that i got from work. I just stuck it to the plug and she holds on for dear life. I swear these magnets are the strongest ones i have ever seen. i use them for everything from fridge magnets to finding lost parts in the yard. so i guess since i got them for free then yeah, i found some cheaper. they are the size of a rolo carmel candy piece and could hold a mack truck!:BlahBlah:
