126 serial#

I recently bought a 126 with the serial# 307000 on transaxle tag. According to a reference on the internet, this is the first number for the 73-106-107-126 models.
So would this be the 1st 126?

Would this machine have 7 digit followed by letter U serial# on the left frame rail somewhere? If so, where on the rail would it be? I haven't been able to find it.

thanks

YES....on the Serial Number.....If you have a 126 with that serial number. then that was the first 126.

The Serial Tag is what is pictured in your image. Later tractors had a serial format of xxxxxxxUxxxxxx. In your case....your tractor is 2050039U307000

Being the 1st one not a big deal, but still pretty cool!

Not only is that the first made, third lowest produced Cub Cadet, it is the first of the 5th series of the Cub Cadet..... One heck of a catch. That needs to be a trailer queen. :beer2:
