It is in fact a Haban H-48. I thank everyone for their help but I now have bigger issues. My charging system doesn't seem to be working. I cleaned all my cables and connections. My ammeter still shows a discharge.and with that, running my PTO kills my battery. Any ideas on where to go next.:bash2:

i have a 982 big red one lol r it was acting funny when i got it this fall it would show discharge when the lights were on and now it is killing the battery.it shuts off when i pull the battery cable.i don't know if they work the same as a truck charging sytem.but i tried to no avail.

Here is a Diagram of the Charge Circuit for the Onan B48G.

Make sure that there is a good ground to the V/R and that there is zero ohms resistance between the V/R case and the negative ( - ) battery terminal.

Using a VOM or DVM and with the motor at WOT or 3600 RPM's, (A) you should have 28VAC or better on the two white (or AC) wires. (B) Between Chassis Ground and the Gray (or B+) wire, you should have 13.6VDC or better
