A snowblower is a dual stage snow removal piece of equipment, incorporating a feed Auger and a Blower Fan (or impeller). Here are some advantages and disadvantages to both designs: Snowthrower.... Pros: * Less costly to purchase * Less costly to maintain * Less implement weight * Less costly to operate * Requires less Horse Power * Can move larger volumes of snow at a given speed Cons: Doesn't discharge snow as far Snowblower....
