Delco Remy starter

Has anybody ever rebuilt a Delco Remy starter with CCW rotation and if so what size bearing do you need for the pulley side? I got my 100 running the other day and made 4 swipes, shut it off, went in the house to watch the kids and when I went back out it wouldn't start I pulled the starter off and took it apart and found the front bearing had totally grenaded ....:Unknown: ...but boy oh boy did it blow snow :) ...sorry no pics yet ...I cant seem to make them small enough :(

Hello Sleeper,
The bearing that I use is NSK-6203DU. I think the generic size is a 203FF. Also think that I bought it at my local auto parts store. OR local bearing house. Good luck.

You will find that bearing has been used as a generator/altenator bearing since the 1930's probably thee most popular bearing around.

Been a long time since I did one , and some are bushings.
IIRR, if it is a bearing, it probably is the same. I'm sure someone will chime in and give a answer for sure or not, or you could look up on parts tree or cub cadet WWW
