Are all bolt flanges on Kohler K-301 blocks the same through the years? In other words if I have a used Gravely engine with a flat pan, can I install a deep sump pan,and have it fit in my 129?

Sometimes Kohler oil pans are specific to the machine/equipment that they were designed for, and there was more than one style of Kohler engine block.

I'm not saying that a Gravely pan won't fit a Cub engine or that a Gravely pan won't fit in a Cub tractor, just saying that there are more than one style and I have always found that it is easiest to compare the two pans (or engine blocks) side by side or by measuring before you commit to anything.
