Well I painted the grill last night and put it back on, messed with the carb a little more and today, no idle surge and started up really fast and ran very good !!! I used my backpack blower and cleaned up the leaves and then used the 127 to push the leaves in piles !!!!! Here are some pics !!!

Quit posting pics of your rear tires...it's making it really hard for me to get through the next month so I can go home and mount the Tru-Powers that my dad picked up on my 1872.:drool2::Mad1::ExtremeFunny:

I have some bad news though...that style of front tire absolutely sucks in the snow. You can go any direction you want as long as it's straight ahead. BTDT with too many tractors. Hopefully V61s and independent brakes will help cure that problem on my 782 this year.

Sorry Matt !!!! I am looking for another set of front rims and want to mount some AG's there too !! I have to climb under it again tonight and check a few more things. The steering is sloppy and still messing with the brake pedal that wont return the hydro lever going foward. I am just glad I got that #26 carb working pretty good. I have all the basics working good now. starts and runs, charges, and moves !!! Oh one more question, my PTO lever will pop out of the "off" position and turn on by itself sometimes......I had to zip tie it back for now.....any way to adjust that?

Matt G. 11-14-2010 03:11 PM

I didn't the PTO could turn itself on on this series because the lever has to move up and then forward. There should be a spring in the handle for the PTO clutch...is that gone?

yes

its still in there, it just kinda works itself up when its running and pops up......Seems like it does not sit low enough in the bracket. I thought i was missing something.......Hmmmmmm

you sound like I did when I got the blade for my 2544. It was the middle of summer and I just wanted to "push" something. I just didn't know I was going to have snow on the ground for 3 months straight to push!! :biggrin2.gif:
