K301 Valve Guide Installation

I am just getting things in order for when I get started on the rebuild of the engine. I just got the old valve guides out. The intake guide was not much of a problem, but the exhaust was a PITA. I am curious to know what is the best way to install the new guides when I get them? Can they be installed with a hammer and drift or is a press needed. I don't have a press and don't know of anyone with one. I guess I could get the machine shop to do it along with the other machine work. Just getting some ideas.

Thanks
DWayne

Honestly, I would press them in/have them pressed in to avoid impact. The shop can also finish ream them if needed.

Cheers
