Let's See How You Get Your Cub Snow Ready?

Here is a picture of my 123 with some of its winter attire. Still need to mount my soft cab and chains (maybe??) on it. I ran it tonight for the first time in almost a year and had to put a cap full of fuel injector cleaner in the tank to get the lines cleaned out. After she fired up, I noticed it was a little stiff in the joints until I ran it around the yard some......Now let's see your cub with its snow shoes on!!!

here is my 1969 Cub Cadet 127. Has brand new 23x10.5 tru powers, new front ribs, 42" plow. Just painted the hood, seat, rims, and I am about to take that junk walbro carb off and put the correct #26 on there.

Looks like we're running the same tread JaysNJCub127!!! Can't beat a winning strategy.

Great action photos Wild Bill. Two quick questions: 1) Why do you have your front ags mounted backwards? I have a set of front narrow ags that I haven't had mounted yet and I was wondering if there was a reason for mounting them backard. 2) Do you ever load your bucket up with salt? I have thought about mounting a salt spreader on back but didn't know what that would do to my tires.

Love that 1282, I think I want a red one !!!

Thanks, I think you need a red one to. I think everybody should have at least one maybe two. This one won't be the last, I hope the next one is bigger and has a 9 in the model number. I also run my front ags backwards to plow also. They work much better that way.

1- I was told, and have come to believe, that mounting them backwards (simply 'swapping sides') makes the AGs -bite better-, and help with steering in the snow. At the time I bought them, there were no such things as '3-4 rib' tires made in the 16-6.50-8 size. The AGs are WAY BETTER than turf tread, or the stock 'smooth rib' tires.

2- I have never loaded the bucket with salt. I have a totally gravel driveway, so the salt isn't needed.

Here are some pictures of the bracket that the bucket mounts to.
