is this the yellow i should use, sorry guys no i have no way of getting a spray gun and i was already prettymuch yelled at for mentioning useing rattle can and is this the correct white? http://www.tractorsupply.com/tractor...-beige-3455521 |
If you have your heart set on spray cans, there is no 'correct' color from Valspar. As I mentioned before, the CC yellow is the orange-yellow used from about 1990 on up, and the same for the white. The correct shade of white for the Original actually has a very slight greenish cast to it and isn't really beige.

I would use this for the white.
Attachment 6173 and the number for the yellow is the can on the left. Attachment 6174 |
EXCELLENT example _DX3_! for those of us that are either relegated to the "rattle can" method, or not quite up to the "show" circuit, these are close enough for those of us that wish to freshen up our "working class" tractors. ar worst, it gives us a good base for a "correct" tidy up over coat. OH by the way, while we have an excellent picture(Duvaltoms) in which to reference, what were the two raised and threaded bosses(nubs) on the right side of the gearcase, near the serial# area, intended for?
