Voltage regulator
Hey guys, I bought a nos regulator from a local cub dealer thats been in business for 50 years. They have alot of old nos parts still on their shelves from years back. It was one of the small things on the original that I waited on because the one that was on it still worked. Well I decided to go ahead and replace it and figured I would try them first becauce I know they have lots of old parts. Well I got one, he had a couple still in the boxes so I picked the one with the nicest box. I went to put it on tonight, and when I went to mount it I noticed the part number is differant. I didn't look while I was there, and probably wouldn't have but it just caught my eye. The number of the one I have is 121578-C1 and the correct number is 121577-C1. I looke dall over the net and can't find anything on hte number I have. Anybody know the the differance, should I take it back and exchange it or will this work? Thanks for the help.

It appears this V/R is for the 6 Volt Farmal Cub and lettered series (ie: A, B, C, H, M Etc) tractors...

Thanks Roland, The more I look at it I think someone put this back in the wrong place I didn't notice then, but the number on the box is wrong to. Oh well glad I caught it, plus returning it is all the reason I need to go back and look through their parts again. I see something new every time I'm there. Thanks again.

Nos
Any way you can get a list of those NOS parts for the rest of us??? Price would be good too. Hate to see NOS parts just sit there. Do you think he would be open to selling the stock for a decent price? Just asking.:bigthink:
