Quick engine rebuild question piston markings
 

I am getting ready to install the piston in a k341 I know the connecting rod needs to be facing a certain way, I got that. There is a little machined divot on the surface of the piston does that have to be facing a certain way as well?

I was going to use the old piston and connecting rod as a guide but the I remembered that the P.O. swapped the intake and exhaust valves in the motor so I figured I had better ask somebody who knows more than me before I install it.

I hate to go though all the trouble of a rebuild and install the piston backwards!!

Which piston are you using?
A, C, or D?

C style piston I have the notch cut out on the piston head and criss-crossed recessed area under the top of the piston.
