Cub 1450 vibration and mounts

I need to replace the motor mounts due to the fact one or two are broken. I saw a posting about repalcing the mounts which included a weld modification to reduce vibration of the unit. Unfortunately, the link which was to give some instructions and detail on the weld modification, was inative. Does anyone have this info or an active link to see what exactly was recommended and how it was supposed to be done? Thanks

1450 engine mounts

I did this upgrade to the motor cradle on my 1450 last winter. I also replaced all 4 mounts with the 759-3952 kit. It feels great with very little vibration.

I made the same mod to my 1250 this summer and installed new mounts. I didn't have much seat time before doing the mods, but there is very little to no vibration at idle, fair amount at mid throttle and smooth wide open. Not sure it makes a difference but the motor is a 14hp instead of the original 12hp.

En Route

I'm in the middle of making the same modification. I found out moments ago that all the parts are in so now it's just a matter of putting everything back and and seeing what happens. Hopefully, when I get it back together it looks like a CC again and still runs. :bigthink:
