Hydrostatic Drive Bypass Control

I have a new Cub Cadet XT1. With the Hydrostatic Drive Bypass Control engaged (pushed in) the tractor moves freely. Is this normal or is something wrong with the transmission ? It does start and drives with lever pushed in. TIA

Makes me wonder if the bypass is fully engaged or disengaged??

Did you say tractor is new as if under warranty? Dealer adjustment, maybe?

It will still move but with a little resistance compared to being pulled out...
