tires

what do you all think I should do? I have a restored cub original and it has the original rear tires they are pretty rough one has a chunk missing the front tires are wheelbarrow tires I want to plow with it. I found a good looking set of rear lug tires on Amazon and also some tri ribs what should I do all 4 tires new is 180 dollars they both have 5 star reviews do I get them? also the rear axle seal looks to be leaking there is always oil running down the right tire and making a puddle on the floor where do I get that seal this is the first older tractor I have had as my oldest is a 1980 782 and this is my first gear drive, thanks.

You can buy rear OEM style "snow tires" from M.E Miller tire in Waseon Ohio.
Personally I think OEM tires look nice on an origional tractor, :beerchug:

As for the seal SKF 10049.

Be careful removing the old seal as to not wreck the bearings behind it with whatever tool you use to remove the seal

If you want to save the original tires for the vintage look, you can get inner tubes to keep them holding air. If you want to plow, I would get R1 Ag tires like Carlisle Farm Specialists or Destone D405. If you want to do both, you can probably get a set of spare rims from one of the vendors listed at the top of the homepage.
