Engaging both drive levers causes lack of power
Z Force Cub cadet
Zt2800 hydro gears Just replaced the right side hydro gear and it works great on its own. If I engage the left side, the right side loses power. The left side seems to engage in forward and reverse at the first 1/3 of control arm travel, past that loses all power. Thoughts? |
ISSUE RESOLVED
I had removed the drive belt tensioner pulley to replace the belt. Reinstalled about 90degrees off, and had it tensioning against the belt section that spans between the hydro gear pulleys. Gave it enough tension to operate the right side alone, left side was slipping, and together cause the belt to slip. |
You came here for help, and you found the problem, and corrected it yourself, that is great!
Thank you for posting the fix, it helps others. In my day we had no computers, no internet, just books in the library or someone that had figured it out when they had the same problem.:beerchug: |
