Not sure I know how to do this, but here goes. I am new to the Cub Cadet world, started out looking for an automatic drive as my replacement hip didn't work out as the brochure claimed it would. Have owned a 216 John for many years, and have to say very impressed with the 1864 I am going to pick up tomorrow.

Welcome from Central Kentucky. I'm sure that 1864 will serve you for years to come.

Welcome yblockford. I’m also new from PA. I got a few y blocks also. 54 f100, 55 Fairlane club sedan, and a 56 f350 under construction.

Well its good to hear from someone who knows what a Y block is.... mines a 272 that cleaned up at .040 over. small holley 4bbl on top, hooked an FMX behind it for ease of driving. Chassis is a Country Sedan wagon. Someday it might even be drivable.

I'm old enough remember when they replaced the flathead,and had rocker oiling prioblems back in the day Ha,LOL :bigthink:

Here’s my 239 in the 54 F100. It’s bored .120 over (used 272 pistons) Isky E4 cam, crank and rods from a 312. Measures 283” now.
