Wiring problem
 

1810 cub can you tell me where the white wire goes from the ignition switch. My oil light stays on with key on and while it’s running I just rewired it and I think I have something wrong but it does start and when I unplug oil sensor wire it goes off but when I ground it to the engine it’s still off so I did something wrong. Thanks any help would be appreciated

Any time the key is in the "on" position, it sends power to the oil light. The oil switch without the minimum pressure provides the ground for the other side of the light. When you have oil pressure the switch opens and there is no ground wire for the light to illuminate. I'm pretty sure you know this.
