Okay i recently found a cub Cadet original it is fully restored it has a creeper amp meter and sleeve hitch with a Brinley plow they're asking $1,500 is that a good price they also have an exhaust stack on itThey have two they're selling for both $1,500 eachThere's the one I just mentioned and there's one Bare Bones oneWith a mower deckCan you tell me if this is a good deal or notI'm thinking I'm picking it upIf my '782 sells:biggrin2:

Depends on the serial numbers.... Earlier 4 digits and even 3 digits will hold a higher value to a collector. Earlier the better. The values of the fully restored Original is out of my ball park because I fancy myself as a user rather than a collector unless maybe its a very early serial number thats properly restored.

If it really is fully restored, I’d say that’s a fair price. You’re not going to buy one and give it a proper restoration for less than that. Keep in mind, everyone’s definition of restored is different. Some people will slap a rattle can paint job on over rust, scratches, and dents and call it a restoration. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t pay that much. IMO, a proper restoration means taken completely apart, check everything out, rebuild/replace any damaged/worn out parts, and a good paint job, so you end up with a basically new tractor.
