vertical exhaust (stack) on a KOHLER HO twin

Hey guys, regarding my 2072 (M20) I need to get the exhaust up and out of my face. I love my SGT but its the worst machine I own for exhaust fumes and its the one I work the most. Let me be VERY clear... I AM NOT LOOKING FOR NOISE!
If anything I would make it quieter if I can. I just want to be able to use the tractor without being forced to take a shower as soon as I am done moving it even 10 feet.

before I go an reinvent the wheel I wanted to ask for insight and pictures. It looks straight forward enough to run a cross pipe, the side exit into a stack that has a muffler built in. I have already collected extra side panels as to not modify the original ones. I was considering finding side panels off a SGT with the Kubota engine and use the factory outlet in the side panel, but I think the cutout is too far back the panel for me to use it efficiently.

Thanks guys in advanced.
Dave
