New Cub cadet XT2 SLX50

I am ready to retire my 1974 Lowboy 185 and my 1963 Cub Cadet 100 and I am looking at a new XT2 SLX50 to mow my 1.50 acres. I can mow with my EX2900 with a mid-mount or a tail dragger finish mower but it weighs 3500 lbs with loader - no bucket. I have other uses for it.

Any thots on the XT2 for my mowing needs? - has a twin cylinder Kohler HD 24hp - Or suggest any other?

I'd buy a zero turn for just mowing. Other than that find a good used older cub with a shaft drive.

Agree with Sam.... ZT's are the way to go if you are doing mostly lawn duty.

Same here, if I was going to buy a new mower and I will when I retire, I will be looking at Kubota and Ferris zero turns.
