Extension bracket for 450 snow thrower
Hello all, I've stopped by here and read posts for quite a while and really appreciate all of the help that the members give. Recently I registered so I could ask a few questions.
I own a Cub 1811 and picked up a 450 snow thrower for it. I have taken it totally apart and sand and bead blasted everything. The two gear boxes call for a high pressure grease. Does anyone know how many ounces should be pumped into each box? Doesn't seem like it should be filled to capacity but I don't really know. Also could anyone supply the dimensions for the #784-5415 bracket? I found a few online but $60-$70 for a simple bracket that I could make in about 15 minutes seems a little much. The top half is self explanatory since it matches the top of the existing bracket on the tractor but what is the distance between the top 1/2" hole and the center of the bottom pin that the lift arm attaches to. I really appreciate any help. Bubbleboy |
I swear I've seen the drawing on here, but of course now I can't find it.

Yeah, I looked back through many posts on 450 blowers and a few about the bracket and couldn’t find anything.
Really I just need the measurement from center of the to 1/2” hole to the center of the pin that the lift arm attaches to. If anybody has one, could they measure it please? Thank you. |
