Need help installing push button start on 1572 please!!!
Hello all! So about a week ago I ran into a nice 1572 with the d600 kubota for a little over $300. I figured that was a steal so I snatched it up like a fat kid does the last cookie on the plate! It has front and back pto, hydraulics on front and back, a steel “dozer” blade controlled by the hydraulics! It’s in fantastic shape the only thing amiss is the guy that sold it to me was in the process of swapping out the key ignition for a push button for the starter and a toggle switch for the accessories, gauges, and everything normally controlled by the “run” setting on the old key switch. I suppose he was gonna run the glow plug indicator and glow plugs on a separate toggle, so 3 in total. Could I combine the “starter” wire on the same toggle as the glow plug controls if it’s a 3 position on/off/on type toggle? Any assistance getting this sucker wired would be an immense help, you have no idea. If anyone has a wiring diagram for this d600 and a push button ignition swap I would be forever grateful, or even instructions. I’ve looked everywhere online but can’t find anything. It’s all for gasoline engines…anyways like I said its just setting without key ignition, no other faults. thanks everyone! Pictures will be posted very soon!!! Take care all!:American Flag 1::bash2::bigthink:

I would just buy a new switch for it.
Here's an OEM from a trusted vendor. https://www.messicks.com/parts/kubota/66706-55120 This one is probably a Chinese knock off so no telling what you'll get. https://www.amazon.com/Mover-Parts-I...3216797&sr=8-3 There are lots of upgrades that should be done to these machines. BTW, I assume that starter upgrade also works on a D640?
