Ever see a Sleeve Hitch (3 point for the purists) on an 1864?

I'm guessing the previous owner had an 82 series or other wide frame machine and made the sleeve hitch work on his new tractor.
I plan on pulling it out and seeing what lift bar it has. Hopefully it'll fit my 1282 :D. |
That wasn't a bad snag. I thought about grabbing that one too.

Now I'm scared I'm headed for a deck swap project. I think that needs to go on my 1912, not the 44C that's currently on it :D |
I'd have grabbed it for the bumper and the weights too. It was definitely a good pickup.

Yeah the $1000 782 with the series 1, that burns oil, has a weak starter, been on MP for 4 months, and he wants an 'honest' price?
I told him I'd go $400 because it looks nice, but it really doesn't have much else going for it in my mind. I've got a lower serial than that one already but I'm still half interested because it's an old George P machine. |
lew price? nice options...

I think I can swap on a 44C deck from my 1912/4, swap deck drive pulleys, and still get $4-500 out of it after keeping the bumper, deck, weights, and rear lift. It also has a Kohler command :D |

So free weights, bumper, and 3 point, not bad.
You may have an issue as I do not see a 54" deck listed for the 1912 with the pto pulley size being smaller, unless the 1864 has the same size. |
