Hey folks, first post. I’ve got 2 1450s. One I’ve used for the past few years cutting grass, best mower I’ve owned. It need going thru so I picked up a newer 1450 as a parts mower. It has the lift linkage and good compression. Need advice; this newer mower doesn’t have the manual hydro release to push the mower. Can’t seem to get it to roll, had to lift the rear to trailer it. The hydro shifter seems to be locked in neutral as well. Any advice on how to get it “push-able”?

Make sure the brake pedal is not locked down to the footboard. You can remove tunnel cover and check for manual release valves. If they are manual valves push down on pin in center of each one to free up hydro.
