Hello gentlemen,
I have a new to me spirit of 76. It came with the original deck but no blades. I was wanting your input on which blades you would purchase if you were in my situation. Have you had success with certain brands? I have just under a acre that I would be mowing. Thank you for the help.

You are looking for parts for a vintage machine, therefore I doubt that you have much choice about brands and have to take what you can get.
The blade part number is 759-3814. Google it.
