1200 Lift Rod Removal ?
I have a 1200 that I want to take apart and redo as a stock puller, I'm having problems getting what appear to be roll pins out of the lift arm and the lift shaft underneath
Anyone have any suggestions ??? |
purchase you some roll pin punches, PB blaster, and a hammer. soak the roll pins in PB every couple of hours or so for a few days. then take the correct size punch and give it a few good whacks till it is removed. thats how i removed mine!! hope that helps. jeff

Thats how I got my two off. A good quality punch the right size.
The latch rod inside both of my lift arms has been welded at the bottom. I am shopping for a good one should yours be in good condition and you willing to sale or trade. Thanks, Tony |
lift arm
I have been doing that now for a couple of days but no luck yet guess I will just keep trying. Thanks for the advise. I'll let you fellows know if and when I get it off. Ron
