Cub Cadet Hydrostatic 127 Value
Hi all,
I have a Cub Cadet Hydrostatic 127 that I'm looking to sell. It was last ran and used to mow a lawn about two years ago. It's not running at the moment, but I think all it needs is a new battery. The front tires are also a little rough and could probably be replaced. Any idea what it would be worth in this condition and where I'd even go about selling it? Below is a photo (it's in the garage and surrounded by stuff, so sorry about that). https://i.imgur.com/uTT89NI.jpeg |
Well, put a battery in it and get it running,
Worth more that way than not running. Make it a turn key sale |
Thanks for the feedback. Can you give me an idea of what the difference would be between running and not? I just want it out of my garage, and am willing to let it go for cheap as-is.

First:Where in Ohio are you located? Second: What are you thinking for an “ as is” price? Thanks, Chris

Well, that's kind of what I was hoping to find out from here. I have no idea what it might be valued at, in its current condition, or running. Google says anywhere from $300 - $1500, but that's the AI summary. I'm near Dayton.

I would balk at 300 unless it was a turnkey deal.
What with a run of some 25,400+ units built, it's not like they are rare |
Good to know - thank you.

I would say $100-200 not running, $300-500 if you get it running. After 2 years, I would guess the carburetor probably needs to be cleaned too unless you ran it out of gas before you parked it. Not hard to do, that tractor could probably be running with a battery and about an hour or so of work.

Thanks - I do believe I ran it out of gas. I usually do with my other lawn equipment. I guess I'll have to see if I can't find a cheap battery to throw in it.
