Creep drive issue
 

I’m having an issue with the creep drive on my 126. The spiral pin that secures the yoke to the shift lever keeps either working its way out or breaking. The pin is the correct size and fits snugly when installed, so I’m unsure why it won’t stay in place. I have replaced the yoke prior to this so it doesnt seem to be the issue

I have seen pix of the pin with a wire going through it. Keeps it from falling out

Hole in the shaft is probably wallowed out on both ends a bit leaving only the center of the hole somewhat snug leading you to think it actually is tight.

Best to have the hole welded up and re drilled to correct size all the way through.
