782 Facet Fuel Pump Mounting
 

Good afternoon,

This group has been great help to me helping me to tinker with my Cubs.

I have decided to upgrade from a mechanical fuel pump to an electric Facet fuel pump. Can anyone tell me the best place to mount the fuel pump. I believe I know where to connect the electrical to the ignition. Is there a better way to connect the electrical?

Mount away from heat and vibration and pumps push better then they suck, so the closer to the the tank the better.
The OEM mechanical pumps last 40+ years, why change a design that is proven to work?
