Plow Lift Bracket Interference
2 Attachment(s)
I just got a 719-3093 lift bracket for a future plow purchase and went to install. I noticed it is contacting the bolt heads that hold the lift bushing to the frame. This is not allowing it to be fully installed so the bolts can pass through. Is there something I am missing here?

Is that on backwards?

Then the mounting bolts won't be able to be installed. In their current state with the bracket rubbing on the bearing bolt heads they cant be installed. |
Oh well, I never had an issue with mounting it. You may have to get some pan head bolts and install them.

Yep, pan head bolts or I have ground down the hex head and coated it with zinc rich paint. I'd use some antiseize on your socket head screws and the hex head bolts if you go that route because you wont be able to put a lot of torque on them in the future.

I would remove one of those bolts and have a looksee that maybe the hole is chamferred for a flat head bolt.
Even if not, you can countersink the hole and put in new flat head bolts. Eezee Pezee! |
