Vanguard Powered 1872 Driveshaft
 

I'm in search for information for upgrading or modifying the drivetrain of my 1872. 4 Yrs ago I installed a Vanguard 18 replacing the M-18. I built an adapter to extend the existing shaft by 3". It has done well until a few days ago when the fwd pilot bearing failed tweaking my adapter. The driveshaft loop I installed kept the damage to a minimum. If I'm going to do this again I would prefer a CV joint or a aluminum adapter for the rag joint adapter. Thanks.
