Cub Cadet Accelerator Pedal
 

I saw these pedals on some Cub Cadet pullers at a tractor show a couple of weeks back .As soon as this site will stop bumping me off I'll post them

Looks rather fun to have something like that on a gear drive

I want to add one for my hydrostat. Instead of using the "lever" I prefer a foot pedal.

Your idea of a foot peddle on a hydro will only be a hindrance.
To run one correctly with max. hp ,you run them full throttle all the time and control the ground speed with the hydro lever.

I think he's refering to a treadle style hydro control like on the new Cub Cadets. Not the throttle control.

There have been some custom made hydro foot controls made. Most of them were for loader Cubs where you are moving forward and back and needing to use the lift controls with your hands... oh and steer too.

I personally like the handle better than a foot pedal.

Sorry.....I may have misread the original post. I thought these pedals were pictured on "puller tractors". I am reasonably sure, that 95% of all puller tractors are GEAR DRIVES.
