54inch ZRT hunting low idle
 

runs great and mows /moves fine , when i bring it down from high RPM's the idle seems to "hunt" up down, never stalls just kinda annoying, any ideas , or things that I should look at . This is a new occurrence

Lean condition. Possibly from overheating and fuel vaporizing. Grass and cuttings clogging the cooling vents and grass screen.

Crappy gas, clogged fuel cap vent, dirt in tank, dirt in fuel bow, dirty fuel filterl....
on the bright side at least you know your governor works.
