Tiller belt

Recently got a 1A tiller and I need the belt that goes from the pulley to the gearbox. Anyone know where I can find one that is cheaper than from CC? I have seen some but they appear to be 13/32 x 53 3/8, not 13/32 x 53

The 3/8" should be able to be within with the belt adjustment tolerance.
That equates to 3/16 of an inch in the adjustment.--(3/8 divided by half) :bigthink:
if you think that short belt is expensive, do not look at the price of the L-O-N-G
belt!

Does anyone have any experience with using the "proper" width belt vs just buying 1/2 inch belts? Is there any difference in belt wear really?
I have used 1/2 inch belts on both of my machines mower decks for 2 years and haven't noticed any belt wear, so when I started overhauling a no.2 tiller I just found the right length for both so I can order from my local napa. It took me 3 tries but I did find the proper length for the pto belt, for some reason its longer than it should be, a 148 1/8 belt was what I needed from the parts I put together for the mule drive and gearbox.

I was going to try a 3/8" belt and see if that would work for now.

You can get decent belts on the internet that will work for that short belt as it is not making twists that kills cheap belts.:beerchug:
