Just got a Cub 122, previous owner restored/rebuilt engine. Only problem I have found with this machine is it back fires some when I increase the throttle. Do i need to adjust the carb, or is there maybe another problem I havent thought about? I am not real familiar with the works of an engine so any help with be appreciated. Thank you for your time,

The frist thing I would do is to check the timing using Matt's timing guide.

If that doesn't help I'd check carb settings. My problems were a blown head gasket.

Thanks, I was just going to ask if anyone could see it. I can't get it to load on my laptop, but my iPod Touch, of all things, will load it. I guess the problem is on my end now...:BangPC:
