345 Fan assisted bagger repair
 

Well, my 345 fan assisted bagger housing is completely shot. So I figured I'd make one out of 11 gauge steel. These were made by Grass Pump and they are out of business so I don't know of any parts available except for the impeller and bearings through Deere. I made a template out of cardboard and traced that onto the steel and then cut it out with my plasma cutter. I then welded it up and found that welding corner joints on 11 gauge is pretty hard but this is a worker and not a looker so I'm okay with them. I made a new impeller a few years ago from 1/4" steel and I am installing greasable flange bearings on the new assembly so hopefully it will last a little longer.

I see you have a Scag mower, they use the same type. see picture.
