Wheel Weights and things

1 Attachment(s)
Is there anyone who make aftermarket wheel weights or is the best place to find them the standard Ebay and Facebook? This weekend I am going to rebuild my brake pads and if time put ballast in the rear tires, change tranny fluid and loader fluid, engine oil, etc. I am looking add some weight to the weight box also. Just like to find some wheel weights. I use my 129 strictly as a loader and mover of things.

Most wheel weights are pretty standard as long as they are for the same size wheels. If you are looking for the factory IH cast iron weights, used is your only option. If you don’t care about being “correct” lots of other brands will work.

A long time ago, I purchased wheel hub weight bars. Basically, they mount on 3 of the lugs of the rear tires and have a rod coming out of the center of the rim and a hole on the end for a pin. I slide 70 to 80 lbs. of weight on each bar and get some extra weight on the rear of the tractor. I use mine on my 129 with sweepster broom on the front.
