1527 dies when hot???
1527 ran fine all spring... then 3 weeks ago it died after 90 minutes of mowing. I let it cool a few hours and it started right up.
The next week it died after 15 minutes... would start when cool again. Today it died after 7 minutes.....:bash2: After it dies, the engine will crank,. but not start. I have let it die ...then checked both coils (I have spark) and fuel pump. (still have gas heading to the carb.) Oil is good and air filter clean. I'm leaning toward an electrical issue, but TBH I'm not very handy tracking those down.... Any suggestions on what or where to check? 17hp kawasaki. |

I would digitally check the temperature of the coil, report back here, thats the direction I'd go for a start.Make sure if you replace the coil, you research and get the correct one.Good luck

Gas cap vent?

Vapor lock.
Ethanol boils at a lower temp than regular non ethanol. Been really hot here as of late, same issue. So I switched to non ethanol in my GTX2154 W/the CH680. The flywheel screens MUST be clean and not restricted by grass clippings or debris. |
