Fuel issues on 1512

My 1512, D600, keeps running out of fuel. It acts as if there is a restriction in the fuel system. I replaced filters and installed a new electric pump. If I remove the filter from the supply line before the electric pump and no fuel leaks from the line. Does anyone know if there are any check valves in the system?

Sounds like it's time to remove the tank, drain and inspect it.
