D600 lost a quart of oil
My 782D’s Kubota D600 started fine and I was able to do some mowing today. When I backed it into the garage in its spot, it started losing oil. I shut it off as soon I saw it. It looks to have lost about a quart. It still seems to crank over fine, but I didn’t try and start it. Did I crack the block or somewhere else on the engine to cause an oil leak? There doesn’t look to be water in the oil. I’m perplexed by this one. Are there any hoses that carry oil that may have failed? Where is the oil sensor located? Could it have failed? The oil seems to have come from the right side just above the lower radiator hose. I’m new to these diesels and I’m learning a lot on this one.

Before panicking, start simple
Make sure the leak is not a drain plug or oil filter A quart of oil on the concrete floor is a huge puddle For a difficult to find leak I will clean and dry the area then use baby powder, I doubt yours will be difficult to locate |
