Finally cancer free, I get a new hip in the morning
 

I've been waiting more than two years for this hip replacement (bone on bone) but had to deal with blood clots and cancer first. A lot of radiation (78 zaps total) for prostrate and neck cancers plus some skin cancer thrown in for good measure before surgery was an option. Now I have checked all the boxes and am scheduled for surgery in the morning, March 11, 2024. I have to be there at 5 AM and hope I'm early in the rotation. I'd appreciate prayer for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thank you, Steve

Thanks for the prayers. I got home from nursing home with good physical theropy yesterday afternoon. I've got some PT ahead but I'm on the mend.

Glad you are doing well! Physical therapy can be challenging, not to mention painful, but worth it in the long run.
