Deck belt installation
 

I have a 2008 LT1045 Series 1 and I have conflicting information as to installing a new belt. My manual shows 4 pulleys, but I actually have 5, 3 blade pulleys and it looks like two tension pulleys. I cannot find any diagram for the 5-pulley setup, what am I missing? Also what length belt should I use and is Kevlar ok.

IF.....you have a 46" deck....it is 1/2" x 122"
Kevlar is dandy.

Click the Cub Cadet Parts & Service block at top of this page,
Click the square Cub Cadet block on new page that opens,
Type in your model number (LT1045) & search,
Click your year,
Click "Assemblies",
Scroll to bottom, click "Show More"
Scroll down & click "Mower Deck - 46-Inch"

To download a complete parts manual go here.....

and enter the 11 digit model number and serial number under your seat.
