3 point hitch build
Looking for threads to build a category 0 3 point hitch for 3186.
|
I don’t think anybody has built one yet. There are 2 different versions for the 3k machines. The 207 & 365 depending if your machine has the CI rear or not.

207
I'm pretty sure mine is the 207 from the diagrams I have seen.

3 point hitch.
I just need a good used rock shaft. Not a new one.

Walter,
Post a good clear picture of what you do have so far. Lay it out on a nice surface free of clutter so we can see just what you have.' Also include a good clear picture of the rear of the Cub, mainly the rear plate between the wheels. The rock shaft is a welded assembly |
Just build one and make it better use real bearing blocks on the back plate. You can cut the back plate for the hydraulic cylinder or mount everything outside the back plate and possibly use two cylinders. The amount of movement of the stock 3 point is minimal and you can do a lot better with your own build.

3 point hitch.
My big problem is I don't have any measurements to go by. I know on the back plate there are 2 holes on each side to mount the rock shaft brackets on. On the lower right there is the cutout for the lift cylinder to stick out and hook to rock shaft. I have the 2 link assembles already. Also rest of hookups, except the rockshaft.

Walter, I actually have a 3000 with a 3 point on it - it's my next project. It is sort of buried right now but if I move it out to rearrange things for the winter I will take some pictures and try to get the measurements you need.

3 point hitch.
Thanks Bill I would appreciate that. My coupling to tie the 2 valve assembles together will be here tomorrow along with the hydraulic lift cylinder. Still have to finish rebuilding the 2 valve assembles an shorten the handle for hydraulic valve. I ended up with 2 handles the same length. And have to drill out 1 more brass bushing that goes on lift link.

All I am missing for a 190-365-100 Hydraulic hoses and cylinder. The cylinder I can get from a supplier. finsruskw made me a new rear hitch Plate and some rocker-shaft Mounting brackets. The 190-365-100 Only works with aluminum transmission case tractors with external Brake controls This boneyard https://www.ihccw.com/ might still have a rocker shaft for a 190-207-100. I am finally purchasing a 3208 to mount the 190-207-100. I'll just have 3 leavers, though I won't have the 4 leavers. But thanks to this https://summit-hydraulics.com/produc...button-switch/ I'll have 4 outlets and will only need one lever. I'm also getting a 54-inch Blade with the manual angle kit, so the next search will be for the angle kit and horses for that to use in the Summit multiplier  |
