42” cast end deck on a 122

Hi All,

I have a 42” cast-end pin-on (not quick-attach) deck mounted on my 122. The deck is way out of level from side to side. I determined the problem is that my rock shaft is twisted so one of the arms is about 1/2” lower than the other. I’m thinking I can level it out with a shorter link arm on one side. The link arms I have (p/n 959-3095) are about 2.25” from the pin to the end of the slot (see my photo). I see that there is a different link (p/n ih-478875-r91) for a different deck hanger for an Original that looks like it might be shorter. Does anyone have one that they could measure for me? Thanks!

my model 70 with its cast end deck came with the screw leveler link on the left side and to accommodate it the lift arm on that side was bent inward slightly.
that seems like the best way to do it, i have the parts to 2 mule drives and was looking at all the links and they are all worn different amounts so i think adjustment is a necessity.

The cast end decks can be leveled by adding spacers under the rear deck hanger brackets and adjusting the eye bolts at the front of the deck.

Thanks for the responses. I found a seller on ebay who had one of these and he confirmed it was shorter. Got it installed and it helped a lot. Still needed to use some washers as spacers, but was able to get away with a much shorter stack of washers, so mission accomplished.
