Poor man's tire changer
 

I've heard guys complain about how difficult it can be to try and change a tire on small tractor wheels. Here's what I do. I have a 2x6 fastened across the front of my trailer with studs sticking up to hold down the wheel. In this case it's the front wheels of a Farmall Cub but you can do any pattern you need. It not only holds the wheel in place but does so at a nice working height saving your back from having to bend over. Hint-I use the bottle jack method of breaking the bead.
