Zt1 sounds down on power

Hello fellow members First post.
I have a zt1 with 7000 series engine and been happy so far but this past weekend
Got it out of shop fired right up it’s seems to idle ok but when you engage the blades it sounds like running 80 % power but then it will clear up but then it may do it and may not. You can tell when it gains full power cause blades spin faster and engine rpm’s rev higher. But I put fresh gas and same issue any guesses what’s up. Only bout 3 months the old.

Wouldn't this be covered by a warranty ???

Yes but just the point of not having it for x amount of time cause they said it could take up to 6 months

I have an older model with 7000 series engine problems. Have you tried running on one cylinder at a time? Can you hear roughness in either one? If it sounds the same on both sides, there is no need to replace plugs or magnetos. I assume you have pulled the plugs and see nothing obvious? Since the machine is not that old, any chance of anything in the intake system? Do you see the governor moving? Have a look at the fuel filter, no harm in replacing it.

BTW, 6 months, that just sounds insane. Is there another dealer, perhaps a bit further away, that will do the work?
