Having issues
 

I have a cub cadet riding mower I just installed a new battery and spark plugs and it seems like it has no power when the pto is enabled it will move around but puffs black smoke lightly while doing so there are no adjustments on the carburetor no thing else was altered or changed I'm at a loss on where to proceed

What model Cub are you working on?

I also would like to know.. what model is it. Also, did these problems exist before changing plugs? Are the plugs gapped properly? Are they correct plugs?
