129 Mower height issue
 

I own a 122 and a 129 and it seems that the 129 has too many adjustment heights at the bottom and not enough at the top end of the ratcheting mechanism and the knob with spiral plate on the side isn't any help at the top end either. Has anyone been able to come up with a modification to fix this issue?

I've been reading this forum for years but this is my first time posting so forgive me if this is in violation.
